Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information GetKnownAI ("we," "us") collects when you visit getknownai.com, and how we use it. We've written it in plain English on purpose.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you request the free checklist through a form on this site. That's the only information our forms ask for.
• Email engagement. Our email provider records whether our emails to you are delivered, opened, or clicked, so we can see what's useful and what isn't.
• Basic technical data. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider logs standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for security and to keep the site running.
• Advertising cookies and pixels. We may use advertising tools such as the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure whether our ads work and to show relevant ads to people who visited this site. These tools use cookies or similar identifiers. You can control cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage ad preferences directly with Meta at facebook.com/adpreferences.

How we use it

• To send you the checklist you asked for, plus a short series of follow-up emails about AI visibility for your business.
• To respond when you reply to us or email us directly.
• To understand which pages, emails, and ads are working, so we can improve them.

We do not sell your personal information. Ever.

Who handles your data with us

• MailerLite — our email service provider, which stores your email address and sends our emails.
• Vercel — our website hosting provider.
• Meta — if you arrived through one of our ads or visit while our ad measurement is active, as described above.

Each of these companies processes data under its own privacy policy and our instructions.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe anytime. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you're out, no questions.
• Ask us to delete your data. Email hello@getknownai.com and we'll delete your information from our systems.
• Ask what we have. Same address — we'll tell you what we've got, which is almost certainly just your email address and whether you opened our emails.

Data retention

We keep your email address while you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, it's removed from our active list. Our providers may retain minimal records (like suppression lists that make sure we never email you again) as required for compliance.

Children

This site is for business owners and is not directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the effective date above. Meaningful changes will be noted in plain language.
